WedKit and HoneyBook

A HoneyBook alternative for wedding planners, or the piece to add to it

HoneyBook is client management software for service businesses: inquiries, proposals, contracts, invoices and payments. WedKit isn't a CRM and doesn't replace any of that. It covers the wedding-specific side instead: each couple's website, RSVPs, meal choices, seating, guest messages, the run of show and vendor logins. Keep HoneyBook for the business and add WedKit for the guests, from $49 CAD per wedding.

Free workspace. Couples never pay.

What to keep in HoneyBook

If HoneyBook runs your business side, there's no reason to move it. WedKit doesn't try to do these.
  1. Inquiries and lead capture

WedKit has no lead forms or sales pipeline. New clients start in your CRM.
  2. Proposals and contracts

WedKit doesn't send proposals or collect signatures.
  3. Invoices and payments

WedKit doesn't invoice your clients or take payments for you.
  4. Your client communication

Emails between you and the couple about your services stay where they are. WedKit sends messages to the couple's guests.

What WedKit adds for each client wedding

The guest side of the wedding, which a general CRM isn't built to run. Where a plan is named, the feature needs that plan.

Questions planners ask

Does WedKit replace HoneyBook?
No. WedKit has no inquiries, contracts, invoices or payments. It handles the wedding's guest side, so you can use it alongside HoneyBook or another CRM.
Does WedKit integrate with HoneyBook?
There's no direct integration. The two tools cover different jobs, so you book the client in HoneyBook and set up their wedding in WedKit.
What does WedKit cost on top of my CRM?
$49 CAD per wedding with a free workspace, or a plan: Planner at $59 CAD a month or Studio at $179 CAD a month, each with a 14-day free trial. Couples never pay.
Can guest replies come to my studio instead of the couple?
Yes. You choose whether replies to guest emails reach the lead planner or the couple, and on Planner and Studio they can go to your studio inbox.
Do my clients need a separate account?
They get their own free WedKit login to their wedding when you invite them. It's separate from your CRM's client portal.
