How replies work

What happens when a guest RSVPs online

No account to create and no app to download. A guest needs their invitation and a phone.
  1. They open their own reply

The code on their invitation takes them straight to their party's RSVP. You can also let guests find themselves by name.
  2. They answer for the whole party

One reply covers everyone on the invitation. If you allow a plus-one, they add the name, meal and dietary notes too.
  3. They pick a meal

You set up each course and its options. Guests choose for each person and note allergies or restrictions.
  4. They answer your questions

Add your own: which events they'll attend, arrival day, the shuttle, a song request. You see each guest's answers.
  5. They can change their answer

Guests go back with the same code and update their reply before your deadline. You can also change any reply from your dashboard.

Your side

After the replies come in

Collecting replies is half of it. The other half is doing something with them.
  1. Counts that keep up

Attending, declined and still waiting, plus the total for every meal option, change as each reply arrives.
  2. Reminders to the people who haven't answered

Send a reminder that goes only to guests who haven't replied, by email or by text to guests who opted in.
  3. A reply-by date on the site

Show your deadline on the site so guests know when you need an answer.
  4. Seating from the yes list

Drag guests who said yes onto tables, or start from a suggested plan and adjust it.
  5. A file for the caterer and venue

Export a CSV with each guest's table, meal choices and dietary notes.
  6. An early number before invitations

A save-the-date can ask guests whether they expect to come, so you have a rough count months ahead.

Choosing one

What to check in any RSVP website

Most tools take a yes or a no. These are the things that decide whether you end up back in a spreadsheet.
  1. Can a household reply together?

Families answer as a unit. A form that makes each person reply on their own gets you duplicates and forgotten kids.
  2. Do meals come in with the RSVP?

A separate meal form means a second round of chasing the same people.
  3. Can strangers reply?

An open form accepts any name typed into it. Invitation codes tie each reply to someone you invited.
  4. Can you remind only the people who haven't answered?

Otherwise you're messaging everyone, or working out who's left by hand.
  5. Do the replies flow into seating and the caterer's count?

If not, you'll copy them over, and copies are where the mistakes get in.

  3. Invitation-code access

  4. Email and text

Invitations and reminders by email. Updates by text to guests who opt in on their RSVP.
  5. An assistant for guest questions

Questions couples ask

Do guests need an account to RSVP online?
No. They use the code on their invitation, on a phone or a computer. There's nothing to download.
Can guests RSVP for a plus-one and their kids?
Yes. One reply covers everyone in the party, and you decide who gets a plus-one. Each person picks their own meal.
What if someone replies by text instead?
Update their RSVP yourself from your dashboard, so it still ends up on the guest list with everyone else.
Can I collect RSVPs for more than one event?
Yes. Add a checkbox question asking which events each guest will attend, and tag guests to show an event only to the people invited to it.
How much does it cost?
$49 CAD, paid once. There's a 7-day free trial with no credit card, a 14-day money-back guarantee, and your site never expires.
