SMS Consent Process
How WedKit collects and manages guest consent for wedding-related SMS notifications.
1. Where Consent Happens
Guests opt in directly on the RSVP page. They enter a mobile phone number and must check an unchecked consent checkbox before receiving SMS updates.
2. Opt-In Form (Live Preview)
Below is the exact opt-in UI guests see on the RSVP page. The checkbox is unchecked by default and must be actively checked before the form can be submitted.

Optional: Get Wedding Updates by SMS
By checking this box and submitting RSVP, you agree to receive recurring wedding-related SMS from WedKit on behalf of the couple. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. See Terms and Privacy Policy.
3. Data Handling
WedKit stores consent timestamps and only sends SMS to guests who have explicitly opted in. Mobile opt-in information is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
