How to RSVP
Open your invitation, find your RSVP with your code or name, answer for everyone on your invitation, and change your reply later.

Replying takes a couple of minutes. You can do it on your phone or your computer, and you can change your answer afterwards.
Send your RSVP
Open the wedding website
Use the link in your invitation email, text or card to open the couple's wedding website, then tap the RSVP button.Find your invitation
On the "Find Your Invitation" screen, enter your invitation code and tap "Continue". Your code is in your invitation email or text. If the couple has turned on name search, you'll instead see "Search for your name to get started". Type your first or last name and choose yourself under "Select your name".Answer for each person on your invitation
Choose "Joyfully Accept" or "Regretfully Decline". If your invitation covers a family or a group, each person has their own answer, and the page shows progress such as "1 of 3 replied". Save each person's reply with the button that shows their first name, for example "Save Sam's RSVP". If you've been invited with a plus-one, you'll be asked "Will you be bringing a plus-one?" and can add their name.Choose meals and add details
If you're attending, you'll be asked about dietary restrictions, and about meals if the couple offers a choice. You may also see a field for your email address and extra questions from the couple. At the end there's an optional message box for a note to them.Submit
On your own invitation, tap "Submit RSVP". On a family or group invitation, your reply is sent once each person's RSVP is saved. Either way, you'll see a thank-you page confirming your answer.
The couple may show a "Please respond by" date on the RSVP page. Try to reply before it so they can finalize their numbers. Some couples close RSVPs after that date. If they have, the RSVP page says "RSVPs are closed" and shows the reply you already sent.
Add the wedding to your calendar
If you're attending, the confirmation page has an "Add to Calendar" button. It opens a small menu with three choices:
- "Apple Calendar / Outlook"
- "Google Calendar"
- "Download (.ics)"
The menu notes that your calendar "Updates automatically if anything changes", so if the couple adjusts the details your calendar follows along. A downloaded .ics file is a one-time copy and won't update.
Change your RSVP
Go back to the RSVP page and enter your code (or search your name) again. You'll see your confirmation with an "Edit RSVP" link. Tap it, update your answers and submit again. On a group invitation, use "Back to RSVP summary" to return to the overview.
If the couple has closed RSVPs after their deadline, you can't change your reply online. Contact the couple directly instead.
If your code doesn't work
Check that you've typed it exactly as it appears in your invitation. If it still doesn't work, or you can't find your invitation, contact the couple directly. WedKit can't look up invitation codes for guests.
