See exactly what a vendor sees

Before you trust a vendor with your guest details, check what they will actually see. The preview shows their portal the way they see it when they sign in, using your live guest list.

1. Open the Vendors page

   Go to Vendors (in your dashboard: Vendors) in your dashboard.

2. Open the preview

   Select "See what they see" on the vendor you want to check.

3. Look through each section

   The preview opens with that vendor's tabs. It stays in sync with your guest list, so it always shows current numbers.

Shared and not shared

The preview lists what is "Shared" and what is "Not shared" with that vendor. If something is missing, close the preview, open the vendor's ⋯ menu, choose "Edit access" and tick the section. Changes apply immediately.

Good to know

• Previews are not recorded in the vendor's activity. Only what the vendor does themselves appears under "View activity".
• The preview also works for a vendor you have revoked. It shows a note that they no longer have access, and what they could see before. They would need to be re-invited to see it again.
• A preview is for you only. Nothing is sent to the vendor.
