Planner plans, billing and wrapping up a wedding
Pay per wedding or subscribe, how active weddings are counted, what happens if you cancel, and how to archive or hand off a wedding.
Updated October 18, 2026
The workspace is free. You either pay for each wedding, or subscribe to a plan that covers all your active weddings. Couples never pay for a wedding in your workspace. Prices are in Canadian dollars, plus tax. For a side-by-side look at the plans, see WedKit for planners.
The plans
- Pay per wedding: $49 per wedding, paid once. Each new wedding starts with the usual 7-day free trial, and you pay from "Weddings" when you're ready. 1 seat.
- Planner: $59 a month or $590 a year. Up to 15 active weddings and 2 seats, plus templates and a "Planned by" credit.
- Studio: $179 a month or $1,790 a year. Up to 50 active weddings, unlimited seats, assistants limited to their weddings, the option to hide "Made with WedKit", and custom domains.
Planner and Studio start with a 14-day free trial. A card is needed to start, and you aren't charged if you cancel before the trial ends. Founding planners can enter the code FOUNDING30 at checkout.
Manage your plan
Only the owner can change the plan. Open "Plan & billing" in the workspace sidebar to:
- see your plan, your next charge, and how many active weddings and seats you're using;
- start a trial, upgrade, downgrade or switch to yearly;
- open "Invoices & payment method" to download invoices or update your card;
- cancel, or keep your plan if you change your mind before it ends.
If a payment fails, a banner appears in your workspace. Your plan keeps working while the payment is retried, so update your card from "Invoices & payment method".
Active weddings
A wedding counts as active until it's archived. Weddings archive themselves 60 days after the date, so they stop counting on their own. Weddings the couple had already paid for before joining your workspace don't use a slot. When your plan is full, archive a past wedding or upgrade to add another.
If you cancel
Your plan runs until the end of the period you paid for. After that:
- sites with a wedding coming up stay live for guests until 60 days after the date, and RSVPs keep working;
- your team can't edit or send messages for those weddings;
- the couple can keep editing their site by paying the usual one-time price of $49.
Archive or hand off a wedding
- Archive: available once the wedding day is over. The site stays up for guests for a year, and the wedding becomes read-only: editing and sending stop until you restore it. Archived weddings don't count toward your plan.
- Give the wedding to the couple: after the wedding date, you can hand the wedding to the couple for free. They keep their site and their login, and it leaves your workspace.
- Part ways before the wedding: the couple keeps their site and can carry on by paying the usual $49.
