Run client weddings from a planner workspace

Set up your studio, create weddings for clients, work inside each one, invite the couple and plan the day with a run of show.

Updated October 18, 2026

A planner workspace sits above your clients' weddings. Each wedding is a normal WedKit wedding with its own site, guest list and dashboard. You run all of them from one login, and your couples never pay.

Create your workspace

  1. Sign up

Go to the planner sign-in page, choose to create a studio account, and enter your studio name, your name and your email.

  2. Enter your code

We email you a 6-digit code. Enter it and you land on "Weddings", your workspace home. You can also continue with Google.

The workspace is free. You pay per wedding or pick a plan, see plans and billing.

Your weddings page

"Weddings" lists every client wedding with its date and countdown, RSVPs, open tasks, whether the site is live, whether the couple has joined, and the lead planner. Use the tabs to switch between "Upcoming", "Not live yet", "Past 60 days" and "Archived". "Coming up this week" gathers wedding days, RSVP deadlines and checklist items due soon.

Create a wedding

  1. On "Weddings", select "New wedding".
  2. Fill in the couple's names, the wedding date, an optional venue and the site address. The address can't be changed from the dashboard later, so choose carefully.
  3. Under "Start from", pick "Blank wedding" or one of your templates (Planner and Studio plans).
  4. Choose the lead planner. Their email is used for the wedding's receipts and replies.
  5. Optionally fill in "Invite the couple" now, or do it later.
  6. Select "Create wedding".

Work inside a wedding

Select "Open" next to a wedding. It opens the same dashboard the couple uses, with a planner bar at the top that says you're working as planner. The couple sees your edits live. Use the bar to switch to another wedding or go back to "All weddings".

Invite the couple

If you didn't invite them when you created the wedding, open the wedding and add each partner's email under Access & Permissions (in your dashboard: Account). They get their own login to that one wedding. They never see your billing or your other weddings, and they can't remove you.

Plan the day with a run of show

Inside a planner wedding, open "Run of show" in the sidebar. Add every moment of the day with its time, place and who's responsible, and choose who sees each item: your team only, the couple, all vendors, or one vendor. Items from the guest schedule on the site show up too, badged "Guests". Switch views between "Everything", "Team only", "Vendor call sheet" and "Guest schedule", and select "Print run sheet" for a paper copy. Vendors you've shared access with see their items in their vendor portal.
