Connect WedKit to Claude or ChatGPT

Add your wedding to Claude or ChatGPT so you can ask about guests and RSVPs and make changes from a chat.

Updated October 21, 2026

You can connect your wedding to Claude or ChatGPT and manage it from a chat. Ask who hasn't replied, or tell it to add your cousin and her husband, and the change shows up in your dashboard and on your site right away.

For ChatGPT you'll need this WedKit link: https://wedkit.ca/api/mcp

Connect Claude

WedKit is in Claude's connector directory, so there's no link to paste. It works on claude.ai and in the Claude desktop and mobile apps.

  1. Find WedKit

Open WedKit in Claude's directory, or in Claude open Customize, then Connectors, and search for WedKit.
  2. Connect

Click "Connect". A WedKit page opens. Sign in if asked.
  3. Allow

The page shows which wedding you're connecting and what Claude will be able to do: see your wedding, edit guests, manage RSVPs, and edit your wedding site. Click "Allow".

Connect ChatGPT

  1. Open plugins

In ChatGPT, open Plugins, click "Add" and choose "Add custom MCP server". If you don't see it, turn on developer mode in ChatGPT's settings first.
  2. Add WedKit

Name it WedKit, paste the link above and choose OAuth.
  3. Allow

Connect, then click "Allow" on the WedKit page that opens.

What you can ask

You can ask questions:

  • How many guests have RSVP'd, and who hasn't replied
  • What a guest said they can't eat
  • How many people picked each meal
  • Which attending guests don't have a table

And make changes:

  • Add guests, or a whole household at once
  • Record an RSVP that came in by text or phone
  • Set meal choices and seat guests at tables
  • Add schedule events, FAQs, venues and RSVP questions
  • Show or hide sections of your website

Changes are live on your dashboard and your site as soon as they're made.

Changes your guests would notice, like moving the wedding date, turning a site feature on or off or removing a venue, ask you to confirm first. Seating changes save a restore point, so you can undo them from Seating (in your dashboard: Seating).

Disconnect

Each connection is for one wedding. To disconnect, open Account (in your dashboard: Account), find "Connected AI assistants" and click "Disconnect". The assistant stops working with your wedding right away.

Removing WedKit inside Claude stops Claude from using it, but the connection still shows in WedKit until you disconnect it there too.

Every action an assistant takes is recorded. You can see recent activity under "Connected AI assistants", and our privacy policy (section 4.6) explains what we keep.
